Russian weapons found in Hezbollah – photography and analysis

During ground operations in southern Lebanon, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) discovered Russian weapons in tunnels used by the terrorist group Hezbollah.

In particular, among the finds were MRO-A infantry flamethrowers and Konkurs anti-tank missile systems (ATGM).

What kind of weapon is this?

MRO-A infantry rocket flamethrowers are designed for firing at enemy groups and have high mobility. These devices allow firing from cover, providing protection to operators. They can be used to create fire barriers and destroy enemy personnel, making them an effective weapon in combat conditions.

The Konkurs ATGM, in turn, is one of the most common anti-tank systems, capable of attacking armored vehicles at a distance of up to 4 kilometers. It is characterized by high precision and a powerful warhead, making it a formidable weapon against any armored vehicle.

The discovery of these weapons highlights the connection between Iran and Hezbollah, and also signals Tehran’s continued support for armed groups operating in the region.

Previously, Kursor reported how the Russian Federation is helping the Yemeni Houthis in the fight against Israel.

Furthermore, Russia recently expressed “categorical condemnation” regarding the launch of a limited Israeli ground operation in Lebanon. The Russian Foreign Ministry announced multiple civilian casualties and also expressed solidarity with Lebanon, which Russian diplomats say is suffering from Israeli aggression.
