In Baku’s Nizami district, street trading has been eliminated around the “8th kilometer shopping center,” known as “Vosmoy” market.
The owners of the facility told Baku TV that they were not warned in advance about the demolition work.
“10 days ago we should have been warned not to bring goods. The other day I brought goods worth 4,000 manats to sell. Now I can’t sell them,” the businessman protested.

It was reported that yesterday the elimination of existing street commerce in the vicinity of the market began.
“As part of the work to restore order in the area, the stalls where street commerce is organized are being dismantled and removed from the area,” the information states.
