The Ukrainian Armed Forces showed footage of the destruction of Sudzhi by the Russians.

The town of Sudzha in the Kursk region has been behind military lines for several weeks and is completely controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. In retaliation, the Russians decided to destroy the settlement and are attacking it with everything at their disposal. At the same time, they do not care that the residents remain in the town.

This was reported by the Ukrainian Ground Forces and Ukrainian media.

The Russians are launching guided bombs at Sudzha, firing artillery and kamikaze drones.

“They are destroying their own people,” the Ukrainian Armed Forces said in a statement.

On August 30, a Russian bomb hit a kindergarten, and enemy aircraft attacked private homes where civilians were staying. There are about 200 civilians left in the town, who are being helped by the Ukrainian army. Almost all of them are very old pensioners. People unanimously insist that the authorities did not warn them about anything and did not try to evacuate them.

In addition, representatives of the Ukrainian commandant’s office recently installed a water supply in Sudzha, so local residents now have drinking water. Before this, water was delivered to locals by trucks and water carriers. The Ukrainian military also provides medical assistance to local residents.

The media also reported on terrorism against civilians. The news claims that Russian troops are firing on their own people and homes. At the same time, propaganda presents this as an attempt at “liberation,” but in reality the Russian army is simply hiding behind civilians.

“The Russian military uses both UAB and MLRS systems to supposedly remove Ukrainian servicemen from occupied positions; instead, they end up in architectural monuments and facilities. FPV, Lancets, ZALA and Supercam drones work very well,” said the officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexey Dmitrashkovsky.

Earlier, Kursor reported that hostilities in the Kursk region continue. The other day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine published another evidence that the Russian authorities send untrained soldiers into battle; an example of this is the captured T-80 and T-90 tanks, which were controlled by an inexperienced crew.
