The volume of business between Russia and Belarus is calculated in January-July of this year

On the sidelines of the Eurasian Economic Forum in Yerevan, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, in a meeting with his Belarusian colleague, Roman Golovchenko, noted that both countries lead “active work to implement those instructions and agreements”. TASS reports on this today, October 1.

The head of the Russian Cabinet of Ministers also confirmed compliance by both parties with the instructions given Vladimir Putin AND Alexander Lukashenko.

“We are accelerating work in all key areas” – added Mikhail Mishustin.

According to the Russian Prime Minister, in January-July the commercial turnover of the two countries “increased to 2 trillion 355 billion Russian rubles”.

“In percentage terms, it appears that we have added 8.5% to commercial turnover. But this comes against the backdrop, as you may recall, of such a significant jump last year. These figures indicate that the right path has been chosen and that cooperation in all areas is giving positive results.” – Golovchenko clarified.

In the future, the countries will continue to develop cooperation in the fields of industrial cooperation, technological sovereignty and independence of imports from Moscow and Minsk.
