Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump leads by a wide margin in the states of Indiana and Kentucky, where polls have already closed, early Associated Press counts show.
According to the agency, in Indiana, Trump has 71.5 percent, his rival, Democratic candidate Kamala Harris, 26.7 percent. Less than one percent of the votes have been processed there so far.
The former US president also leads in Kentucky with 63.4 percent, while Harris has 35.5 percent. In this state, about two percent of the ballots have been processed, AP notes. According to CNN, Trump so far has 60.9 percent in this state, while Harris has 37.8 percent.
