Two of the 4 people who were in the car managed to get out on their own and went down a 200 meter cliff to ask for help. Two young men waited for hours at the edge of the cliff to be rescued.
According to information, at 5:30 in the morning, the driver of the car, Eren Gok, lost control on a road that was slippery due to rain and rolled down a 50-meter cliff. As a result, the car overturned. The driver and a woman named Ebru Altinkaya were injured. Two other passengers, Arif Bulut and Narin Salva, got out of the car alone and got out about 200 meters from the place where the car fell to call for help. But they got lost because it was dark. Neighbors in the neighborhood heard the cries for help from the two young people who were helpless on the edge of the cliff and notified the corresponding authorities.
Health services, police, the Turkish Emergency Management Agency, firefighting personnel and the National Medical Rescue Team attended the scene.
Four passengers injured in the accident were taken to Gümüşhane State Hospital after the first intervention at the scene, where they received medical assistance and were informed that their lives were not in danger.
