Nearly 50 Infocam soldiers in Letur and Mira remove debris and participate in rescues
The fifty members of the Castile-La Mancha Forest Fire Prevention and Extinguishing Service (Infocam) deployed in Letur and Mira are working this Friday to remove debris and support rescue efforts.
In the case of the city of Albacete there are five land vehicles, with 26 soldiers, while in Cuenca there are four land vehicles and 23 soldiers mobilized.
According to the regional government, 15 land vehicles have been mobilized since the start of the emergency; 6 pumps and nurse; 3 patrols, plus various ATVs and aerial assets. In total, there are 140 personnel including forest firefighters, environmental officers and technicians.
As for the actions carried out, they focus on cleaning streets and scoops to facilitate the relief work of all emergency and security forces involved, as well as on supplying personnel and those affected.
