On October 5, for the fourth consecutive year, the city of Valencia will host the celebration of National-Nederlanden Plogging Toura pioneering tour in Europe that combines outdoor exercise and sport with environmental awareness, the promotion of a regenerative culture and an active and healthy lifestyle within society.
The recognition of Valencia as European Green Capital 2024 adds particular value to the fourth edition of the Plogging Tour Valencia, in a celebration that highlights the sporting spirit and the environmental and social commitment of the city.
The meeting point will be Saturday at 9 a.m. at Turia Parknear the October 9 bridge, where participants will be able to collect their bib and their participant kit including an ecological bottle, a bracelet, gloves and a bag.
After the official cutting of the ribbon which will mark the departure, they will be able to carry out one of the routes of 2.5, 6.5 and 11 kilometers suitable for all ages and fitness levels. In addition, it will be possible to participate in the morning in a complete program of parallel activities at the Plogging Campus, which includes sports exhibitions, masterclasses, workshops and games for the little ones.
Registrations are available on the Plogging Tour website and cost 5€ for adults and 1€ for children. 100% of this amount is intended to support social objectives through the Valencia Food Bank and the DalecandELA Association.
