The Chief of Staff of the Israel Defense Forces, Lieutenant General Herzi Halevi, warned Iran of the possible consequences in case of new missile attacks against Israel.

This was reported by The Times Of Israel.

Speaking to troops at Ramon air base in the south of the country, he said the Israeli army had the means to respond with more force, but had not yet deployed them.

Halevi noted that if Iran makes a mistake and decides to fire again, Israel will counterattack using previously untapped capabilities. He stressed that the military is ready to attack not only new targets, but also objects that were deliberately not attacked this time.

According to him, this strategy is justified because the conflict is far from over and Israel hopes to conserve resources for possible subsequent operations.

The Chief of the General Staff also recalled that past attacks against Iranian targets were only part of a broader plan. Israel has reserved the possibility of taking further actions and, as Halevi noted, the current stage of the operation is only temporary, in the process of active implementation.
